CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN IN WIDE TEC

On Friday 30 October, was held at the headquarters of our company a party to celebrate Halloween or Halloween, which pays tribute to the union or extreme closeness of the living world and the kingdom of the dead. On Halloween, also called Halloween, is a holiday celebrated mainly in the U.S. on the night of Oct. 31, and dating back to the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian All Saints Day.
Certainly it is a secular celebration that Christian religions, although some believe has a religious background. Irish immigrants passed versions of the tradition to North America during the Great Irish Famine of 1840. Etymologically the word Halloween (pronounced ha.lo.win) is a derivation of the English expression "All Hallow's Eve" (Eve of Day of the Saints).
It was celebrated in Anglo-Saxon countries like Canada, USA, Ireland and the UK, but the expansive force of American culture has made it popular Halloween in other Western countries, as in our case particularly Venezuela.
The Halloween is often associated with orange and black colors and is strongly linked to characters like "Jack-o'-lantern" (hollow pumpkin with a candle inside). The most prominent and typical customs of Halloween is the famous trick-or-treat "(sweet or trick) and costume parties, besides the bonfires, visiting haunted houses, jokes, reading comics and movies terror. In the graphs one can observe the pleasant moments of those who constitute part of the Tec Wide staff in our Halloween party.
