Boilers
A boiler is a machine or device engineering that is designed to produce saturated steam. This steam is generated through a heat transfer with constant pressure, in which the fluid, originally in liquid state, is heated and changes state. According to the ITC-WED-AP01, boiler pressure is all apparatus where the heat from any source of energy is transformed into usable energy, through a conveyance liquid or vapour. The boilers are a special case of heat exchangers, which produces a phase shift. In addition are pressure vessels, which were built in part with steel sheet like many gas containers. Because of the broad applications that has the steam, mainly water boilers are widely used in industry to generate it for applications such as:
 Sterilization (Tindarización), it is common to find boilers in hospitals, which generate steam to sterilize medical instruments, also in the dining room with industrial capacity is generated steam to sterilize utensils.
Heat other fluids, for example, the oil industry is heated to heavy oil to improve their fluency through the steam.
Generating electricity through a Rankine cycle. The boilers are an essential part of the power plants.
It is common confusion between the boiler and steam generator, but the difference is that the latter generates superheated steam.
Types of Caldera.
Acuotubulares: are those in which the working fluid moves through tubes during heating. They are most often used in power plants, allowing high pressure to his departure, and large generating capacity.
Pirotubulares: in this type fluid in a liquid state is in a container, and is traversed by tubes through which circulates heat and gases product of a combustion process.
Elements, terms and components of a boiler.
Water supply: The incoming water that feeds the system, generally well water or water network.
Condensate Water: The water that comes out of a pond and capacitor representing the quality of steam.

Cycles of concentration: Number of times that concentrates water boiler with regard to water supply.
Alkalinity: salinity level expressed in ppm CaCO3 that a concentration of carbonate ions and hidróxilos determining the pH value of running a boiler, usually from 10.5 to 11.5.
Desoxigenación: Chemical treatment that removes oxygen from the water boiler.
Inlay: sedimentation of solid formation of crystalline or amorphous cores sulfate, magnesium carbonate or silicate that undermine the efficiency of operation of the boiler.
Dispersante: System chemical that keeps the solid descohesionados before an event embedding.
Antifouling: chemical system that allows to remain solid encrusting solution.
Anticorrosivo: chemical system that provides protection for formation of protective films before corrosive ions in the water.
